Almost up until the time we bought it, this building had been a working industrial forge; we retained as much of the existing furnaces as possible.
We extended the building to the side to form a ‘bedroom wing’, incorporating a small existing ‘add-on’, retaining the galvanised corrugated roof detail.
The main interest to this building is the magnificent furnaces, which were incorporated into the sitting and kitchen areas.
